Mukti's 2010 Fundraising Dinner with Auction

This year Mukti's Fundraising dinner is going Bollywood. With live bollywood entertainment, a three course Indian feast (with non-Indian options available), and a prize for the best Bollywood costume.

We're also lucky enough to have David Taylor, the senior auctioneer from Fletcher's Real Estate, presenting a live auction. Great items will be up for grabs with all the proceeds going to Mukti's work with women and chidlren in India.

Make sure you invite your friends along, and make a booking as soon as possible, as there are limited seats.

Jan 2011 Youth & Young Adults Short Term trip

4th-19th of Jan 2011 we're taking a group of youth and young adults to Mukti. Not only will you get an awesome

oppurtuntity to see some of India's greatest landmarks, and experience an amazing culture, you'll also have a chance to serve with a 'hands on' approach at Mukti.

Cost of $3000 includes flights, accommodation, all internal travel and meals.

Passing of Dr Sheela Gupta

Dr Sheela Gupta, author of “A Doctor’s Search for Peace” peacefully and triumphantly went to her eternal home on 10 June 2009. Her body was laid to rest at the Pandita Ramabai Mukti Mission Cemetery on 13 June. Many Mukti married girls, past staff and contacts from her Bible teaching ministry, attended the service. During the funeral service a book on her life and ministry, titled “I found Perfect Peace” was launched. Copies are available from the Australian office - 03 9890 0211 or email admin@mukti.org.au.
