Visually disabled girls live as a part of the Bougainvillea Family at Mukti Mission.  These include totally and partially blind girls.

The special Braille school has learning facilities with trained teachers providing the girls with a quality education.  The headmistress is herself blind, well qualified with B.A. and B.Ed.  In school leaving examinations students from Mukti Mission Braille school have been placed as high as first among visually disabled students in the Pune district.

Women with visual disabilities live together in the "Bartimi Sadan".  These women can earn a living for themselves by making coir baskets and other similar products.
